Oliver Wasow: Rogues Gallery

The presidential election of 2016 galvanized the art community into a network of resistance. One artist’s response, Oliver Wasow, in upstate N.Y. has been to create a series of composite photographic portraits of Donald Tr*mp and his cabinet.

His suite of photographic portraits will be installed in the front gallery of steven harvey fine art projects from Monday May 1, through Sunday, May 6, 2017. The opening reception will be, Monday, May 1st from 6-8pm, Mayday.

These images are offered for sale individually or as a suite of fifteen 12” x 16”prints. Individual prints are 100 dollars or the entire suite can be purchased for 1000 dollars. All proceeds go towards either the ACLU or PlannedParenthood, at the discretion of the buyer.

Oliver Wasow was born in Madison Wisconsin in 1960. Wasow showed his work in the 80s at Julian Pretto Gallery and Josh Baer Gallery. His one person exhibitions, include shows at the Janet Borden Gallery, Tom Solomon Gallery in Los Angeles, The South Eastern Center for Contemporary Art in North Carolina, and Galerie De Poche in Paris, France. Reviews of his work have been featured in Artforum, ArtNews, and The New York Times.
